Admissions

all prospective students must submit an official application to study at Palacky University.

The entrance exam will be waived for students of Optics and Optoelectronics, Digital and Instrumental Optics, and General Physics and Mathematical Physics, who, during their high school study, showed exceptionally good results in Mathematics and Physics or succeeded in certain high school competitions such as Mathematical Olympiad or Physics Olympiad. The admission to the study without entrance exams must be approved by the Dean of Faculty of Science, who shall notify the applicant in writing. Other candidates will be subject to a written exam in mathematics and physics. This written exam lasts 90 minutes and consists of 30 problems with the total score 60 points.

Specialization in Health Care Optometry
An entarnce examination for the study of Optometry consists of a written test of general biology and physics.
