Selection criteria
1) Only students who are going
to study in the undergraduate courses for MSc. degree (3-5 years)
or the graduate courses (for PhD) will be accepted.
2) Those students are encouraged
to apply, who will take special experimental laboratory courses and/or
work on their diploma (or doctoral) thesis.
In these cases the language barrier would not be a serious obstacle.
Otherwise at least partial knowledge of Czech is expected.
3) Amongst students who satisfy
the above criteria, serious consideration
will be given to the level of recommendation from their home university.
Students are asked to get a Letter of Recommendation from a member
of the academic staff of their home university familiar with their work
and language skills.
Language for applications
Students and local coordinators should send
the application written in English.
Other information

3) Availability of intensive language courses: Courses of Czech throughout both winter and summer terms may be arranged.

Moreover, there are student reductions in student restaurants, museums, galleries etc. A student can live modestly in Olomouc for 6000 Kc per month (approximately 200 USD).
